Supplier network
We only work with suppliers we’d be comfortable recommending repeatedly.
Our partners are investment casting suppliers who understand industrial OEM expectations—on quality, timing, and communication. We stay selective so that both sides value the relationship.
Initial vetting
We look at fit before we ever send an RFQ.
- Core alloys and size ranges they handle best.
- Industries they already support (mining, oil & gas, pumps, etc.).
- Evidence of consistent on-time delivery.
- Basic quality system and inspection capability.
- Responsiveness during early conversations.
We’d rather have a smaller network of reliable suppliers than a long list of unknown shops.
Ongoing expectations
Being in our network is not a one-time event.
- Reasonable quote response time, especially on repeat parts.
- Honest feedback when a part is not a good fit.
- Clear communication about lead times and risks.
- Respect for buyer relationships and RFQ confidentiality.
- Honoring representative/commission agreements where applicable.
Removal & rotation
We’re not afraid to stop sending RFQs to a shop.
If performance drops or communication breaks down, we reduce or stop routing RFQs to that supplier.
- We take buyer feedback seriously.
- We favor suppliers who consistently treat buyers well.
- We’d rather reroute RFQs than force a poor fit.
